TRIM BUT DEADLY
   USS CRONIN DE/DEC 704 ASSOCIATION
HOME PHOTOS REUNION

The FOUR POINTS by SHERATON is a great hotel and our Reunion will be more than comfortable.  All of the amenities are available as are restaurants and a shuttle.   Remember all of our menu prices on food & beverages will be discounted.  You can reservations up to 3 days prior/past the reunion days for an extended stay.

The FOUR POINTS has a great swimming area  so make sure you bring your bathing suits so you can relax in the May sunshine.   Remember this is going to be a great time to relax and enjoy ourselves.  The time of the year ought to be great for swimming and laying by the pool.   We will be going places but we will have time to spend just shooting the breeze.

ROOMS at the hotel will be to your liking for sure.  The one shown is a Double/Double and gives you plenty of room to stretch out on great mattresses and watch TV.   Remember Baseball will be humming along.   Always of course, the hotel will provide you with the sights and sounds of New Orleans on their special channel just for us visitors.

BANQUET NIGHT:   Now we probably won't need this many tables and seats, but we will eat in style.  Just what we are used to when we get together during our reunion and eat in style.  Just remember you have to get your reservations in by April 1, to ensure we can have all the amenities and events that we wish to see.

One of the tours we will take, and I expect to have their lunch also is the WW2 National Museum.   By the time we get there some very large and dramatic changes will have taken place.   They are really doing a great deal of construction on site as we speak.  This photo is just the front and main entrance way.  I expect it will be changed also.  You will enjoy this museum and the manner it is laid out.

NEW ORLEANS AND THE KATRINA TOUR;

This tour will take in the city of New Orleans around the waterfront, some of the cemeteries and mansions,   You will also pass through the famous French Quarter and imagine what Mardi Gras would be like in those narrow streets!!  After leaving the city area you will see those areas hardest hit by the wind and water of Katrina.  See the houses with notations of the dead found there, and the work that is yet to be done.   Be close to those pumps that failed showing where the water rose swiftly trapping so many people.
